Can Bech Figs in Syrup

Preserved figs are the specialty of Can Bech since 1981, a family-run preserve company in Spain. Figs are an outstanding product of the Mediterranean diet, a true delicacy that was already consumed in Ancient Greece and also during the Roman Empire. These figs used come from the Murcia region in Spain and are preserved whole with a thick simple syrup, ideal for giving a special touch to any dish. 

With only four ingredients - figs (67%), sugar, water and lemon juice - the wholesome sweetness of these preserved figs are delightful to the senses.
