Odette Lambert is the owner of Family Crops Foods. She is a graduate in Food Science from Laval University in Quebec City. Since traveling to Vietnam in 2016 in search of delicious foods, she discovered the country's beautiful cashew crops which thrive in their tropical climate.
Lambert established Family Crops Foods to support products grown on small family farms. Family Crops Foods establishes personalized relationships with growers which has allowed them to develop a healthy collaboration and mutual trust rooted in our common values. Small farms provide biodiversity by combining a variety of crops in the fields and in the woods of fruit trees, as well as its cashew nuts.
At Prairie Oils, this inspiring story helped us make our decision to bring in this product so we know we are consuming food that is respectful of the worker who receives adequate salary along with fair working conditions.
