Green Oak Farms Farmer Sausage - $

NEW to Prairie Oils & Vinegars! Green Oak Farms farmer sausage and farmer sausage crumble. This lightly smoked sausage has a hint of maple - which we LOVE. Use the crumble (which is the sausage meat without the casing) as ground pork in a lasagna with a béchamel or 'schmontfat' as the sauce. We love local and we love that this area of Manitoba knows its farmer sausage!

Loaf & Honey Cheese - $10

We are excited to supply Loaf and Honey's traditional Trappist monk's cheese! Loaf and Honey spent a year being mentored by Brother Alberic a monk from the Monastery by Holland, Manitoba. Brother Alberic makes a cheese in the Monastic style, which dates back to the 1700s. The Monastic cheese has been made in Manitoba since 1918 and Brother Alberic has been making the cheese since the 1940s. Loaf and Honey proudly carries on this cheese in it's traditional method keeping it true to Brother Alberic's cheese. It is a low heat pasteurized cow's milk cheese that is hand washed daily and aged for 60 days. We look forward to sharing this remarkable cheese with you!

Chaeban Traditional Mediterranean Feta - $6

Made fresh in Manitoba, this traditional cheese is a little salty, and has a slighty tangy taste. Available in soft (very creamy and spreadable) or firm (for slicing, or crumbling on salads). 

De Luca's Antipasto Italiano Trio - $7.75

Sourced from Winnipeg's family-owned De Luca's specialty grocery store and restaurant, this trio of meats is the highest quality of Italian cured deli meats - perfect for charcuterie, faspa, sandwiches, and more. Includes Prosciutto, Coppa and Milano Salami.
