3 medium white cooking onions, sliced or diced
3 Tbsp. Butter Olive Oil
Heat Butter Olive Oil in medium sized sauce pan on medium heat, then add onions. Stir occasionally until onions begin to cook through (about 4-6 minutes).
Reduce heat and continue to cook, stirring ever few minutes for about 15 minutes. The trick is to leave them long enough so they start to brown, but not long enough so they burn. This lets the natural sugars develop.
Add the Honey Ginger White Balsamic and allow to reduce, stirring every few minutes coating the onions and melding with the natural sugars for another 5-10 minutes or until onions are brown and sticky and sweet.
Serve over burgers, melted brie, white fish or salmon, or cream cheese and bagels!
