Ingredients:
1 small round of brie (rind on)
Marinade:
splash of Lemon White Balsamic
drizzle of Tuscan Herb Olive Oil
1 tsp. Gourmet Inspirations Garlic Lovers Seasoning
generous amount of bacon bits
Estilo Affinato or Traditional Balsamic for finishing
Place brie in a tupperware container or ziploc bag. Drizzle with oil and vinegar, seasoning, and bacon bits. Cover and let sit in the fridge for 1/2 hr. to several hours.
Grill directly on heat for a 'charred' effect. Or use a BBQ-safe pan and place your brie inside. Reserve marinade, if any.
Grill on BBQ at medium heat 3 minutes on both sides. If directly on grill, be careful to heat through, but not so the rind lets go.
Place the cheese on a heavy, pre-heated stoneware plate to keep it warm longer. Drizzle the reserved marinade over the brie and add more bacon bits if you like.
Serve with serve with crackers or crostini and drizzle with Traditional Balsamic immediately before serving - include the bottle on the table to add more as required.
