Ingredients:
1 lb. green beans (fresh or frozen)
1 Tbsp. Garlic Olive Oil (or House Blend or Ginger Pressato Olive Oil would be great ones to try!)
1 tsp. ginger, minced
1 Tbsp. garlic, minced (2 cloves)
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. Hoisin sauce
3-4 Tbsp. Black Garlic Balsamic
sea salt and pepper to taste
In a wok or sauté pan (on medium heat) add olive oil, ginger and garlic. Sauté for a minute then add cleaned green beans, salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, then add soy, hoisin and Black Garlic Balsamic. The sauce will thicken slightly as it cooks. Cook to your desired doneness, usually slightly soft with a bit of crunch left. (10-15 mins)
Squeeze half a fresh lemon or lime on top.
Optional: Finish with Gourmet Inspirations Veggie Fusion Spice Blend and Gourmet Inspirations Garlic Lovers Seasoning and a drizzle of Toasted Sesame Oil.
Notes: Depending on size of beans it could take a bit longer time-wise. You could add a lid to lightly steam while cooking for 5 mins or you also could blanch your beans ahead of time!
