Sweet Rib Mop Sauce

1/4 c. water
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. Cherry Balsamic or Maple Balsamic
3 Tbsp. SMAK DAB Canadian Maple Mustard
3 Tbsp. ​Robust EVOO or Chipotle Olive Oil
3 Tbsp. Canadian Bacon Salt Cellar Sea Salt Blend

Whisk together all ingredients. Can heat to a simmer on stovetop if desired.

Use the sauce to repeatedly baste low-cooking pork ribs or a large pork loin to create layers of flavour. If your cooking time is over 1 hour, baste every 10-15 minutes. If you are using a smoker, mop with this sauce every 3-5 hours depending on your desired length of smoking.

Double the recipe if desired to make more sauce.

This mop sauce adds amazing moisture and kicks the flavour of the meat into high gear, enhancing it with the lovely sweetness and stickiness. Let the grilling begin!
