Slow Cooker Apple Sauce

Ingredients:
16 c. cut up apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon
4 - 5 Tbsp. Gala Apple Balsamic
(sugar and cinnamon are to taste, adjust accordingly)

Cut up your apples whatever variety you like, tart are usually nicer. You may peel and core them saving yourself some time or cut up and throw everything in and strain through a sieve when done.

Add the apples, sugar, cinnamon and balsamic to the crock pot and set to high. This will take 3 - 4 hours so go ahead and tackle some other tasks (or not:) stir occasionally.

If the sauce seems too thick add a little water 1/4 to 1/2 cup at a time but be careful, you don't want it all runny. If you're finding it a bit lumpy you can go ahead and use an immersion blender to smooth out the lumps. Pack in hot, sterilized jars and process to seal.
