Homemade Cranberry Sauce

2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. orange juice (no sugar added or freshly squeezed)
2 Tbsp. Honey Ginger White Balsamic (or try Black Currant Balsamic)
1 - 12 oz. bag cranberries
1/2 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
1/8 tsp. Kosher salt


Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring up to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 15 minutes. Mash and strain according to your desired consistency. Let cool completely before serving.
