Edamame

Ingredients:
1 (12 ounce) package frozen edamame (soybeans) in their pods
2 Tbsp. Garlic Olive Oil
1 Tbsp. Habanero Honey Vinegar
1 tsp. sea salt or to taste

Microwave:
In a microwave safe bowl with a lid, place a few tablespoons of water in with the frozen edamame and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes at a time until they are heated through. The skin should still be tough, but the beans will be tender.

Drain and toss with olive oil and vinegar. Add salt on top right before serving.

Pull tender beans through your teeth while enjoying the flavour coating the outside of the skins (do not eat skins).

Oven:
Preheat oven to 375F. Toss thawed edamame with olive oil, vinegar and salt.

Spread in a single layer on baking sheet and roast until shells begin to toast, checking after 10-15 minutes.

Add another drizzle of the Garlic Olive Oil and Habanero Honey Vinegar, and sprinkle with additional salt right before serving if desired.

Barbecue:
Preheat BBQ to 375F and follow oven directions, using an BBQ safe grill pan or double layer of aluminum foil as your baking sheet.

Enjoy! And try with a variety of flavoured olive oils and vinegars to come u with your favourite blend!
