6 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
1/2 c. minced yellow onion
1 tsp. dried oregano flakes
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp. Kosher salt
1 tsp. hot pepper sauce (like Tabasco) (optional)
1/2 c. Cilantro & Red Onion Olive Oil (or your favourite herbaceous olive oil)
1/2 c. Lemon Olive Oil, Lime Olive Oil or Blood Orange Olive Oil
1/2 c. Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic, Lime White Balsamic or Honeybell Orange White Balsamic
Pulse the garlic and onion in a blender until very finely chopped. Pour in orange juice, lime juice; season with cumin, oregano, lemon pepper seasoning, black pepper, salt, cilantro, and hot pepper sauce. Blend until thoroughly incorporated. Pour in the olive oil, and blend until smooth.
Especially delicious over fish or vegetables, like asparagus! Try with any of your favourite herbaceous and citrus olive oils. Keep food moist by brushing on periodically while grilling.
