1 Tbsp. Mild to Medium Extra Virgin Olive oil
1 onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbsp. Traditional Balsamic
1 lb. green beans, cooked
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper
In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat; fry onion and garlic, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 3 minutes. Add vinegar; cook, stirring, until onion is coated. Add beans, salt and pepper; toss to coat and heat through if necessary.
A vinegar sauce sounds like it could be too tart for beans, but because balsamic vinegar is naturally sweeter it adds a caramel note and a glossy glaze to the beans.
