Customer Appreciation Day was a success because of all our amazing customers! We really appreciate everyone that came out to help us celebrate 5 years in business!
What stole the show that day was certainly the food! My word! The Maple Baked Beans we cooked up were a hit with the crowd (find the recipe here). And Old Church Bakery did an amazing job with the Maple Pecan Sticky Buns and Saskatoon Buns using our Maple Balsamic and Blueberry Balsamic. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. It was neat to hear customers commenting that they were surprised how much they enjoyed the Saskatoon bun - the sneaky part was, they were made with a multigrain sourdough, which made them healthy!
To cap it all off, the winner of the $100 free draw for a Prairie Oils gift pack was Christine Roberts. She was super excited to get to try all the products we jam packed into the basket. What a delight to treat her in this way!
We've also cleaned up our store since Christmas in time to welcome you all in for the next round of Cooking Classes. Since we've enabled online booking, that seems to be the favourite way to secure your spot. Check out the Steinbach line up, which is featuring guest chefs this year as our Prairie Chef is on leave (we miss her, but the guest chefs are certainly helping us more than get by!).
